A new Critical Insights poll in Maine finds a further drop in approval for Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) since last fall, from 42% to 37%, while the share of voters who disapproved of her performance climbed to 52%.
In contrast, Sen. Angus King (I-ME) remained popular, with 59% of voters approving of his performance.
President Trumps approval in Maine is just 36%.

Mainers are waking up. Hope those numbers keep going lower and lower and she leaves in disgrace.
I will never forgive her for her Kavanaugh waffling.

(302 posts)...points out that in 2009, Collins led the fight to slash money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act targeted to pandemic funding, just before the swine flu spread.
David Obey, who then chaired the House Appropriations Committee, said, "Whether or not this influenza strain turns out to have pandemic potential, sooner or later some strain will. We are not prepared today. Lets hope we dont need to be.
