are theatrics. He's playing to his base and they love this sort of shit. Meanwhile, he doesn't have his rallies, so he is using his press briefing as a substitute. Acosta's been on the side of the angels about Trump for quite a while, but many of his media colleagues keep embarrassing themselves by swooning about Trump whenever he doesn't act like a total madman: "The Pivot! We really need to get more of the media folks saying this about Trump, again and again, and not folding like a cheap lawn chair the next day.
