(21,157 posts)2010 was such an awful year for that state and now 10 years later they are woke and going to purge their states of rethugs. Koch be damned.

Funny if the recall of walker happened I planned to take a mini vacation to Wisconsin from California. And dont get me started on Russ Feingold, Paul Wellstone's political prodigy.

(13,776 posts)I admire them so much and am so upset that they had to go through so much, risking a horrible death, to vote when it didnt have to be that way.
They should be SO proud of themselves. Even the Republicans, reallythey risked their lives too, even though we would say they were misguided. They shouldnt have had to risk their lives to vote, either.

(3,408 posts)My formerly GOP, now left leaning husband and I requested absentee ballots in early March, before the shit hit the fan. GOPers thought they could scare us away by making us risk our very lives. Now what kind of political party would do shit like that?

(4,441 posts)because we've had it pretty rough here in Wisconsin for quite a few years. We're still up against opponents who break the rules and suppress the vote, but tonight it's been made clear that a lot of us don't like what they're doing and that we're willing to organize and fight back.

(11,949 posts)Wisconsin boys were some of the most feared soldiers my mistaken ancestors faced in that war. They did not quit. They were willing to pay for freedom with their lives. Seems they still are.
Good to they are still schooling we southerners on how to get it done.
My respect to you.
Thank you.
