STATEMENT: Tonight, despite the GOP’s savage attempt to suppress votes and steal Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election, Judge Jill Karofsky prevailed. In an election that should never have taken place in person, it’s a victory for justice—and democracy.

all levels of judges are political appointees. While a few bad apples slip by, the use of tenure and mandatory retirement age, for the most part, we have a very good judiciary and candidates are vetted. I could not imagine appearing before judges who run for election. But very gratefully to all those Dems who voted in Kellly.

Make my words. Florida will as well. Without the federal government action many Floridians would be starving. Small government bullshit is not playing well here.
