Today's news shows showed cars lined up for blocks at local food pantries. Many of those were definite Trump types, but without their MAGA hats on. How can this be? MAGAts waiting in the same lines as immigrants, the working poor, single mothers, and other "socialist" types, waiting for free food to be handed out to them. They did not look amused, and when interviewed offered that this is not what America should be like. No shit, Sherlock! Hopefully some of these holier-than thou asshats will wake up to what life is like 52 weeks a year normally for these other unfortunates. Imagine........MAGAts eating socialized 'guvmint cheese, waiting for their socialized incentive checks, and their socialized unemployment checks! Will it make them think a little? Probably not. They'll don their MAGA hats and return to Il Douche's ego rallies as soon as Trump opens America again. Of course it will be way too soon to safely have these rallies again, but with any luck they'll all contract the corona virus there and be unable to vote for Tangerine Idi Amin in November. This might work out fine anyway.

Why are they standing by and allowing this madness? Surely, they as well wouldn’t want to live in a broken country.

I can’t make sense of it. What good are their judges if we are reduced to a dystopian society?

of honest reporting. What can we do as a nation to get Murdoch to do something. I wish him and his family misery and hope they suffer and die in the most awful ways for what they have done to this country. Murdoch is up there with the worst scum of the earth. He is right up there with Hitler and Stalin for bringing pain and suffering to the world and he should be called out for it.

This. is. exactly. what. they. wanted. when. they. thought. of. the. idea. of. a. rightwing. media. decades. and. decades. ago.

They are not going to help you/us, under any circumstance.

They'd rather see their own mother's skin peeled off to death than to help a "liberal."

The quicker those of us on the left understands this the better off we will all be.

OAN makes FOX look like a radical liberal news network. It's really a nightmare to behold. Sinclair and FOX have a lot of catching up to do in order to top OAN for right-wing deception and cradling Trump's balls for him.

It is getting harder and harder for tRump to control his anger. Today was a hint of what he is like behind closed doors. He is slipping and many people know it. The question is how much longer the people with the real power and authority step up and do their job. I do not know how they stand by and watch him destroy this country. I guess their rewards are too great to give up, at least for now. I just want to know when they will decide that even they have had enough.

Concerning private behavior coming to be revealed in public. I have no doubt at all you are correct, that what can be seen when the cheap thug visibly rants and raves at these reporters on camera is what he is generally like behind closed doors.

I recall an interesting account years ago by a newspaper reporter allowed to ride along with policemen on patrol. He observed that for several days, the men (and it was men back then) seemed to be on their best behavior, but that slowly, awareness they were being watched seemed to fade, and after a while he was seeing the meals that went unpaid for, the concoction of excuses to stop a car on suspicion, the unrestrained use of dehumanizing language regarding criminals and racial minorities and women. It was not, he thought, so much that they came to see him as one of them from his proximity over time, but that over time their familiarity with his presence made them cease to regard him as a witnessing public, and they felt as private in his presence as if he were not there at all.

I think something like that is going on with these spectacles. That at times, the cheap thug loses any awareness the cameras are a witnessing presence, he becomes increasingly used to them, and comes to feel he is in private despite their presence, and behaves before them more and more as he does when only his sycophants and cronies are present. It will only escalate, and the spectacle disgusts and repels anyone not already a devotee of the cheap thug's cult of rage and racism.

I think we probably can’t imagine how horrible he is when he thinks he can keep his behavior under wraps. What is stunning to me is that no one seems to have secretly recorded him in one of his rage snit fits. Maybe if someone has done it they are keeping it to make a mint later on. But the resentment and blowback for withholding it might be tremendous and make it not worth it to have kept It secret while the nation went down the tubes.

Now there is discussion about Mitch McCONNELL hating his guts. So maybe there is hope that someone will get sick of him and our nightmare will end. Of course, healing the damage may not Get done in the few years I have left. I don’t care. I just want him out as POTUS and then punished for his crimes. I want a public trial so all can see what a monster he is. Bring on the secret tapes!

too many to count witnesses of him having screaming tantrums, throwing things, etc.
But not one report of him striking anyone.

Here's the thing about that...at yesterdays presser, I heard and saw him angry. His tone was sharp and his voice had a hard edge to it.
But... he controlled himself. He did not rage or swear or even act violent or out of control.

the temper tantrums he does in private are manipulative. They make most people walk on eggs, they control people's actions, he can get them to do or not do things by acting ragefull.

I've seen rageful guys a lot, in my work, I had some go off on me, but never physically because they knew better.
They had control over how they acted, and they were aware of the line.

He knows the lines too....
