When Trump made that move and got them back, what did they accomplish and when? If he didn't get them back, why not?

He bragged about getting rid of them, saying they hadn't been used for years and he didn't want them sitting around doing nothing. But it was supposed to be all good. I suspect no move was made to get them back and none of them were contacted.
