There are officials, press and medical professionals calling this a war against Coronavirus

And some of the things they say and we have done is:

We are all in this together.
We win the war by listening to medical professionals.
Insurance companies, federal and state governments have made access to treatment a priority and have provided waivers of costs and direct payments for services.
There is a race to obtain equipment to treat people complete with the president using wartime power to compel action by private companies.

This has made me think: What if we treated the "war on drugs" like this?
