Trump could introduce new panel Tuesday aimed at reopening the country

WASHINGTON — Every day, a team of public health officials turns up in the White House briefing room to lay out measures being taken to contain the coronavirus pandemic. A different team, expected to be formally announced as early as Tuesday, has begun meeting behind closed doors in the West Wing to tackle another matter paramount to President Donald Trump: how to begin reopening the American economy.

“It doesn’t work if you bring in the hallelujah chorus,” said Thea Lee, president of the Economic Policy Institute, a left-leaning Washington think tank. Lee served on a short-lived manufacturing council that Trump established early in his presidency.

They just don't get it. Or, maybe they are going for a per capita NY scenario in every state! 🤬

TN Gov announced reopening early May. And will announce Wednesday whether he will order schools to reopen!

Will doom his return to work plans from the start. By not testing those people who carry it with no symptoms will spread it making it worse, and last much longer , and damage the chances of a economic recovery sooner. Also forcing some people back prematurely causing more health issues will make more states turn bluer after they see more people die from his policies.

regarding how he dropped the ball by over a month.

Trump does NOT have the authority over the respective state governors when to open their states.

If he orders states to reopen, and some states refuse to do so, this will go to the courts, and there is no telling what the courts will decide

One way or another, trump owns this, and will NOT be able to shift the blame.

2020 will determine this, and what happened in Wisconsin with the upset victory of the Democratic Supreme Court Justice, in spite of the republican effort to try to suppress voter turnout, should be of great concern to republicans

March 14, we had 2,174 cases in the US. Today we have 582,594 cases. March 14, we had 17 cases in TN and 0 in my county. Today we have 5,308 cases in TN and 26 cases in my county. And that's with things shut down. And that's just a sampling, considering that we're not testing nearly enough people. But, yeah, it's time to open things up.

These fuckers really do want to get us all killed.
