Has Trump offered condolences re: those who have died...

from COVID-19?

With him having daily pressers and talking, talking, talking ad nauseam, there are too many transcripts to search, not to mention tweets. The man never shuts the fuck up.

For those who have paying close attention, has he ever addressed the deaths, after the first one, or offered condolences or expressed sadness in any way?

Thanks.

1. Even if he feels nothing, you'd think he'd want to do it, just to boost his positives.

The man is such a stranger to empathy he doesn't even realize he should fake it.

most of his followers really listen to him or read his tweets. I really don't. They don't want to know how much of an idiot he is. As long as they keep hearing soundbites about him "owning the libs" and media, they're good.

about how this will all be "quickly forgotten" except for those who "sadly" lost a friend or family member.

I am thinking that is as close as he could get.

He is heartless.

... back to himself immediately.

Like talking about how the virus is “genius”, then how he’s doing such a wonderful job trying to fight it.

It always goes back to HIM.

6. Paraphrasing here, but he said that getting the economy back on track would honor those affected.

That's about all the empathy or compassion he could muster. Fucking POS.

I wouldn’t expect anything from him.

At least he doesn’t fake it

13. I guess he doesn't feel personally responsible with a tornado...

but he knows he holds responsibility for many of the COVID-19 deaths -- even if he'd never, ever say it out loud. In his warped way of thinking, if he expresses condolences, he admits his involvement in the crisis.
