An update about Marianne Faithfull's Covid-19

That I just spoke to Marianne in London!

MARIANNE SENDS HER LOVE AND GRATITUDE FOR YOUR PRAYERS
I for one and Marianne for two has NO DOUBT that the flood of attention on her wellbeing helped save her life!
She that extraordinary creature is recovering and sounded feisty and strong
and feels she may be able to return home next week
SHE ASKED ME TO TELL NY SHE SENDS HER LOVE!
The full impact of the tragedy is still unknown to her
although she told me that she knew we had lost Willner Hal she stumbled on it on her iphone and is deeply sorrowful att this huge loss ...Marianne called me three days ago in the middle of the night at 3am waking me out of a deep sleep...and got cut off two times till the third time when she shouted "I love you Penny" and I shouted "I love you Marianne" It was hard not to tell her about Hall who i was so deeply grieving as Hal has always been part of Marianne and my conversation but i knew it would be no good for her recovery..nor I share that she had phoned me - already having been publically chastised for revealing that when I waS called by Rolling Stone Magazine I revealed that Marianne had been tested and found positive for Covid 19 and was hospitalized in London .
When Jason Newman of Rolling Stone called me again on Sunday in the middle of my live FB talk I revealed nothing except to say i had been attacked for "Talking to The Tabloids!" and we both laughed that now Rolling Stone is a tabloid! How angry we would all be if Rolling Stone ignored Marianne. The Premier Rock and roll star who is ACTUALLY a rock and roll star!!
I stand behind my belief that in a world wide pandemic where many are not taking the news and existence of this deadly virus seriously - particularly in London last week..that news of Marianne's being struck down with this virus SAVED LIVES!
Marianne cannot wait to return home and says she plans to crack on! naturally!!
So no doubt this cheerful new will reach the world in what is still a very dark moment..please DO NOT CURSE THE LIGHT!
