The rural areas are just getting started now after the brunt of the urban infections.

I was hoping to see some action that was going to be taken by somebody, (well, not Big Bother) to get on the coming food issues which may become rather critical.

We have farmers who may succumb and don't know what or how much to plant. We have migrant workers who are not at all supported or being helped and will be even more afraid work, along with the health issues they face. We also have a variety of people who prepare and pack the foods across the country in a JIT system.

The correct response in an non-Fascist, dictatorial sense, would be to address that RIGHT NOW. There will be some shortages of some items, (but that's the kind of NEWS I would want to hear about from the WH) and we don't know how much for how long. There may also be skyrocketing prices on items that have these interruptions.

Then, there is the inevitable panic buying on those items and other foodstuffs, plus a lack of food at the food pantries at a time when it will be needed most.

How's that for the short list of what is important and really matters now?
