I live less than a mile from a western Pennsylvania small city/large townin other words, the very heart of Trump country. As I was out shoveling mulch earlier, I could hear what I at first took to be someone with Rush Limpballs turned up high on their radio. The ranting male voice was far enough away that you could only occasionally make out a word here and there. Eventually, I realized that I was listening to a public address system in town. Neighbor said it was some kind of a face mask resistance protest.

(2,227 posts)These poor folk are being USED as rubes, by the rich folk.
I'd be willing to bet there wasn't ONE person who could qualify as RICH in that crowd.
RICH 1%ers astroturfing the poor, to use them to protect the 1%ers fortunes. Easy to do when HATE is the common denominator.
Again, JOURNALISTS? Where are you?
Let's say it all together!

Label them, and then let them try to explain why they arent pro virus. I like that.

(29,223 posts)pick ones that are bright red... and offer to do a "land/job/house swap" with any democrat or independent living in that already red state to any of these "morans" living in some other less red state (purple, blue, or even slightly red).
then we build an actual wall around that new state... and call it Dumbfuckistan.

(15,124 posts)on the other and Mississippi in between. I have to say, just from taking a two-lane road trip through the state in September of 2016, that certainly seems true. I'd never seen so many Trump signs anywhere. And, whether buying gas or grabbing a burger, the locals made it very clear they did not welcome out-of-state Prius drivers with Hillary stickers on their bumper.
