Mitt Romney Now Has Less Foreign Policy Credibility Than Sarah Palin

Mitt Romney Now Has Less Foreign Policy Credibility Than Sarah Palin

by Ian Reifowitz

Think about that. But after Mitt Romney's stupendously stupid, not to mention patently false attacks on President Obama and the U.S. response to the violence in Egypt and Libya, I don't see how we can say different.

Even a Romney campaign adviser who had served in the White House under George W. Bush said:

“(Romney) had forgotten the first rule in a crisis: don’t start talking before you understand what’s happening.”

That's from a Romney adviser!

Mitt Romney -- the Republican nominee for President -- now has less foreign policy credibility than Sarah Palin. And that's saying something.

Remember what she said?:

Compared to the cringe-inducing remarks from Gov. Palin, what Romney said was far worse because it revealed him not just as someone ill-prepared for the presidency, but someone willing to score political points during a foreign policy crisis, no matter the effect on our country's material interests.

Sarah Palin aside, that's no joke.

She had a star of David on her necklace.

Such a nice Catholic girl!

I keep hearing Romney saying things with this very even delivery and he always turns out wrong. The idiots trying to vote him in to spite Pres Obama have no fear that if Romney gets in we will probably have other countries so pissed off at the U.S.

Well, the news stations will have a lot to write about!

Four more years!!!!

So, she won't declair what denomination but she
has very strong beliefs about religion....

Seems to be a bit paranoid about sharing her strong personal beliefs.
And her husband tries to convince gays that they're not.

Yeh, sounds like she's a Teabagger

Thanks for catching that!

Will allow idiots to actually run for high office. I find that to be a National Security threat. The world saw how dangerous Bush was. And some of that world weren't afraid to call him dumb. Enough already. To get a good paying job, you need an education. Why do we allow idiots like Bush and (I read everything) Palin even close to the office.

We need some kind of test for high office. Tests with "big words". If you don't understand them, then you don't belong in the White House. Essay tests that are done live in public, and then maybe debated on. Idiots in charge of our country is a danger to the entire world.

Who would hire an attorney or a doctor who doesn't really understand what they are reading? Why is it allowed when running for President?

Even if McCain had won, the Klondike Kardashian would not have been able to go rogue in that way.

Great point from this Daily Kos diary: Comparing Mitt Romney to Sarah Palin

<...>

Mitt Romney had to act Presidential for a little over 9 minutes.

He failed, and a crap-storm of well-deserved flak for his statements on Libya and Egypt rained down on him. Romney only had to be Presidential for a little over 9 minutes, and, instead, he had had his "Palin Moment." (I would argue that he only had to seem "nominational" at his partisan convention, and that this was the first time he was called upon to act Presidential.) His statement deserved to be attacked because of the lies involved, the political attack without the facts during a time of mourning and alert, and because Romney had inserted himself into a delicate situation in a buffoonish way, not knowing what damage he might do.
