I read about this the other day. The first SARS came in February like COVID did and died out in August and by the time the vaccine was ready there were too few cases to warrant widespread distribution. And MERS there were too few cases to even warrant a vaccine. We just don't know how this is going to play out. My brother who is an ER doctor says to prepare for the worst and expect the best.

Even if the virus somehow clears up in August, it will take a long time for the economy to bounce back to normal. Trump's platform is how great the economy is going. But if he doesn't have that, he's got nothing to run on. It will be fun watching him squirm.

There’s no controlling the virus. Let’s say they win the protest and Georgia opens. Two weeks the deaths start and they have 25,000. Its all over for them. They lose the election by 40 states. If Georgia opens and two months they have nothing but a running economy. Then I don’t know how voters will react. This whole thing is unpredictable which is why it’s so hard and frustrating.

Average non-DUer Americans don't mind a good protest for a just cause but even the most high minded protest will hurt it's cause if there's violence, property damage or a sense of entitlement from the participants.

There's entitlement on steroids in these mostly small crowds and they were already a minority, even at their height in 2016. Add to that the over whelming depth of stupidity on display and Drumpf's Daily Shit Show and you get a plus 60 percent opposition to these MSGAts.
