it's inevitable isn't it? We'll blow past 70 probably. But then? Peters out? Second wave? Continual first wave? The uncertainty is the constant gut puncher.

Let's get the party started. Haircuts and bowling, with a trip to see a movie at a theater to follow, for all!

You know you are living in an "economy" that is toxic when it is being treated like a war effort in that the implication is that you should be prepared to give your life to protect it and keep it going. I am going to misquote Jesus here, "The economy was made to serve man. Man was not made to serve the economy." And yet, we see people who are so naive that they THINK they are representing and demonstrating freedom while they are merely being foolish pawns and soldiers in an elite and GOP game to get them to lay down their lives so that the wealthy can thrive. I mean, is there really one born every minute? Suckers for Trump?

I know that their are other factors, like people who can't stand to not be distracted from themselves and many who only feel worthwhile if they work, and yes, I recognize the extreme need this has created in regards to food, housing, etc. for many people, but not all of them are being "worked" by the propaganda and lies used to massage them. They understand, even with their dire situations, that this goes deeper than even that.

As the GOP says: "There are more important things than living!" That should be their motto!

TRUMP/DEATH 2020 - "There are more important things than living!" If the shoe fits.

Are these the same people that believe their civil rights are violated to wear seatbelts?

and if this pace continues we will be at 100,000 deaths by August or September. The death rate in New York maybe declining, but it looks like it rising in other States now.

without much change, we're going to reach over 100,000 deaths around Mother's Day. Let's hope that rate starts declining soon.

who knows where this ends. The death rate in Sweden is 10x that of it's neighbors and Sweden's infection curve is still rising while it's neighbors are clearly on the down slope. Sweden chose to stay open and do marginal social distancing, the neighbors locked down. The southern states have more people that the virus has shown a tendency to kill. The death number could easily balloon to 100,000 within the next month, like you indicated, by Mother's Day.
