Steve Doocy-Off the Charts

Last edited Wed Apr 22, 2020, 07:52 PM - Edit history (2)

When Trump's White House rated TV personalities on loyalty (1-10), Steve Doocy got a 12.

Just read that last sentence and it sounds like I made it up....I didn't. This man is a boot-licker who stands out in a crowd of brown-nosers. Was he ever considered a journalist?

false statements can do harm. I've always respected different viewpoints but defending "your side" at all costs is never advisable. Some of these protestors are out un-masked and spraying their spittle around because of people like Doocy.

The man is making millions with his blatant sucking up. Dishonest, shameless, soul-less, or even goofy seem closer to the reality for this empty suit. I'm not saying there's any bright bulbs sitting on that couch in the mornings, but I don't think Doocy's ignorant of reality. He knows what he needs to say to stay on the good side of Fox News management, Fox News fans, and the Fox News demi-god in the White House.

I see this so often with cases like the Doocies hiring their offspring for plum jobs at their own place of business. They can't actually believe they looked the world over and found the one person most qualified for this great job sitting on their back room couch playing fortnight.

Like a new virus, nepotism is all over hurting our economy as it interferes with the invisible hand and also is a strong contributor to the scourge of income inequality.

To all the hiring managers here at DU, for your next job opening, please hire someone who doesn't share your DNA.

Don't be a Doocy.

There is something chillingly dense about local news reporters. I don't think the job pays that much and what are the requirements, really? Smiling and reading or smiling while reading is about it.

Does a person's dumbass-ness grow or shrink over time? Do you die with the same level of dumbass-ness you were born with? Are hyphens really worth the effort any more?

11. Doocy is implicated in Gretchen Carlson's lawsuit against Roger Ailes.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Doocy

The lawsuit alleges: "Doocy engaged in a pattern and practice of severe and pervasive sexual harassment of Carlson, including, but not limited to, mocking her during commercial breaks, shunning her off air, refusing to engage with her on air, belittling her contributions to the show, and generally attempting to put her in her place by refusing to accept and treat her as an intelligent and insightful female journalist rather than a blond female prop." According to the complaint, Doocy "created a hostile work environment by regularly treating her in a sexist and condescending way, including by putting his hand on her and pulling down her arm to shush her during a live telecast."

This is an interesting story. I wonder if he treats all the female members of the morning Trump fluffing in a similar manner. Did he single her out for some reason? This comes under the category of "I don't think you're as good as the men here" kind of harassment instead of the "be my sex toy" variety.

On second thought....those are both the same category.

There are a bunch of mini-skirted bleach blondes on Fox News and that low camera angle keeps everything clamped up pretty tight. Maybe Doocy's just acting out the corporate culture.

At least Doocy is not attractive in any way.
