I Do Not Usually Pray But I Pray That ----

R$R do something so outrageous it even has their nuttiest supporters running away. And it is bad enough that it takes enough of the GOP down to give the Dems back control of the government. We need a repeat of 1972 after Nixon resigned.

campaign offices that outlined McGovern's policies on almost everything. The one page that talked about Watergate was the last page in the book. I wish I still had that book as a memories of our candidate.

shortly after the June 19 break-in. By August, Nixon was commenting on it. I think that at that time, most people still could not believe that a President could be involved in what Nixon himself called "a very bizarre incident". And on October 10, just a few weeks before the election, "the FBI reported the Watergate break-in was only part of a massive campaign of political spying and sabotage on behalf of the Nixon re-election committee." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watergate_scandal
