I thought I could avoid getting chicken pox from my siblings by inhaling the scent of soap as I washed my hands, thereby getting soap into my bodily systems to proactively kill germs. This is the same general concept as Trump's meanderings about injecting disinfectant to fight disease.

Of course... I was 10 years old at the time, and had no bully pulpit.

So Trump, who claims that scientists and doctors at the CDC are in awe of his masterful knowledge of virology, actually has about a 10-year-old's understanding of what this country is facing.
