I don’t believe there’ll be a viable treatment by January 2020 and I believe 250,000 deaths by January is terribly optimistic.

We haven’t even began to see the death rate flatten yet. The last time we had less than 1,500 new deaths reported in a single day was 6 April. At an average of 1,500 deaths per day from now to January we’ll have approximately 360,00 new deaths by January 1st.
