If you cut the knees out and paste them over the box of butter the woman is holding, it almost looks like she’s showing off her boobs!

You could get really creative and use a pencil to make nipples on them too

It's almost like those "survival caches" you find in random places in the woods in Tomb Raider video games.

I prefer to think that God, however we choose to understand Her/Him/It, was leaving them there for us.

All you kneeded (pun intended) was a sharp pocket knife to cut out three sides of the butter box and some careful backwards folding and rolling. If done right, the knees would pop out the box flap like a tray; the knees magically turning into boobs.

Note: this version is hinged on the top, but the PROPER way is to hinge at the bottom to create a presentation tray

just like sports logos. It's insulting and that's what people see when they see images like that--"squaws", "Indian braves" etc. It's all bullshit. Sorry, this has been a pet peeve of mine for years.

No need to apologize. I figured you were using the slur in a well-meaning effort to make a point, but I also assumed you were white (or at least non-Native), which is why I commented the way I did.

Not everybody knows what "Anishinaabe" means. Here's a short definition from Wikipedia:

Anishinaabe is the autonym for a group of culturally related indigenous peoples resident in what are now Canada and the United States. These also include the Odawa, Saulteaux, Ojibwe (including Mississaugas), Potawatomi, Oji-Cree, and Algonquin peoples.

Have a great and safe day!

The packaging was always a selling point because from a design standpoint it was good art. It was colorful like a Currier and Ives print. It had focal points. (Well it never occurred to me, there were breasts under that package!..LOL) The butter she was holding was Land O Lakes and you thought, "Is there a Land O Lakes within the Land O Lakes". (Honestly I never ever thought about where she was holding the butter ..LOL...It never once occurred to me..I just thought there was more Land O Lakes, never thought what was underneath!!!)

However, it is cultural appropriation and it has run it's course. I heard they may put farmers on the packaging.

I'm white and my parents had a cabin near Lac du Flambeau. There was lots of cultural appropriation without understanding the pain involved.

It is just centrifuged milk-fat.

Real butter comes from lactobacillus fermented cream.

I only buy "Buerre d'Isigny St. Mère" from France which is made properly and has an exceptional terroir.

If there are any chefs here (I am not a chef), they would probably agree.

any of the domestic brands. I bought a store brand on sale about 6 months ago and I couldn't stand it. It was more like margarine than butter. I'll have to try to find the brand you buy. It sounds intriguing.
