My education was lite on art appreciation, and what little there was did not delve much into contemporary/modern artists, so this was very educational. Viewing it causes me to wonder how this pandemic will be portrayed through the brushes of the inspired to explain the chaos and sorrow, pictures being worth a thousand words, it has caused in the world. OTOH, it's sometimes noted that the pen is mightier than the sword. I would surely augment that to include "artists' brushes.

I hope this posting will head to the Home Page and receive the recommendations for launching it to the Greatest Page!

I don't know why - I've viewed the painting before in person and was captured, moved by it.
It could be that I, as well as so many others, are especially sensitive in these times.
