The contrast between Cuomo and Trump is unnerving. Cuomo is brilliant.

Everyday around lunch time he gives a press conference with visual aids and facts. I have learned more from him than anywhere else. Today he was laying out how we reopen. Explaining that he is taking to individual businesses about how it might be done. Not tattoo parlors but essential businesses that can show how it can be as safe as possible.

He explained the R factor. How many people catch it from an infected person. Currently in NY it is 1 sick person infects .8 of a person. It had been 1 sick infects 2. We need to keep it below 1 sick to 1.2 people to survive.

If you're not watching him, you're missing all the good stuff.

Here's a link to today's presser:

NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo plans to open his formidable fundraising network to Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has indicated to party donors that he’s looking to open his formidable fundraising network to Joe Biden, according to people who have spoken with him recently.
It could be a game changer for Biden, who launched his candidacy for president on Thursday.

Cuomo’s wealthy donor network spans the country and the business world. Past donors include movie mogul Steven Spielberg, Walmart heiress Alice Walton and hedge fund titan Steve Cohen. Cuomo also has received support from companies such as Cablevision, real estate giant the Durst Organization and Canadian real estate firm Brookfield Asset Management.

You can listen without sorting out the lies, which saves a ton of time compared to Trump.

He is also pleasant to listen to, not attacking those who ask embarrassing questions. He handles himself well.

7. When I watch trump, I'm googling everything

and I barely start to google something when I think "What??? I need to google that too" and before I know it I've turned him off.

We took our 17 year old son to Thailand. In one city we stayed in a nice hotel (we were on a tour so had no choice) where the only English channel was Fox. We had this contest, how long can we watch before one of us jumps up and turns it off. I think we made it 7 minutes once. That's how I feel with Trump's pressers.

I've never made it 7 minutes with him.

It is almost always on FOX. You can't watch for very long before you want to throw a shoe through the screen. I usually mumble something like, "How can anyone watch FOX?" and usually get agreement from others in the room.

I asked one of the aides if there was a way to change the channel and she said the remote was hidden behind the TV. From then on, I changed the channel.

It is maddening to see people absorbing that propaganda without reaction.

but a day later, it came up in conversation, all of us were pissed Fox was the only channel avail. Then we laughed at our 1st world problems. Here we were in paradise and upset it didn't have better TV.

This was back in the day when 2 weeks in Thailand was less than $1,000 including airfare, which is why we went. Should have known the whole group (almost) was a bunch of old hippies like us. And we all told the tour guides to talk to the company about picking another hotel or telling the hotel to offer an alternative.

Fox should NEVER be on in public places.

I've caught a couple of Governor Cuomo's briefings, and indeed, he's really good.

Governors Cuomo and Newsom make one Hell of a tag team.

I had been watching the orange anus' daily shit side show because, in a demented way, I enjoy watching a train wreck. I stopped watching it last week.
