Trump Seethes About Michael Cohen's Early Release and New Tell-All

“According to those who spoke to him about it this month, the president was visibly agitated, bemoaning the early release of Michael Cohen, his former fixer and lawyer turned ‘rat’ for the feds.”

“The president also discussed pursuing legal options against Cohen, if anything in his ex-fixer’s upcoming, dishy book on Trump breaks attorney-client privilege or is deemed defamatory or libelous.”

I believe that is how the courts call it, right?

Lawyers who violate that privilege can be suspended or disbarred. But since Cohen has already been disbarred, so unless he discloses other protected information, like a trade secret, ain't much His Lardship can do. And truth is a defense to defamation. Also, since Cohen was never a government employee they can't get a pre-publication copy to vet like they did with Bolton's book.

I'm sure Cohen's lawyers will be examining the book very carefully before it's published.

Trump's gonna hate it.
