Trump tires of pandemic efforts, will focus on economy.

The White House plans to shift its coronavirus messaging toward boosting the economy and highlighting "success stories" of businesses, reducing its public emphasis on health statistics, according to two officials familiar with the planning.

The Coronavirus Task Force — and the doctors who've become household names, Deborah Birx and Anthony Fauci — "will continue but take a back seat to the forward-looking, 'what's next' message," a White House official told Axios.

President Trump is expected to make fewer, shorter appearances at press conferences, as we reported on Friday.

Nothing's ever set with Trump, and these decisions will be made day by day. But on Saturday, for the first day in weeks, the White House didn't hold a press briefing and the president made no public appearances.

Expect to see a pivot from the White House in the days ahead, focusing on the economy and a more hopeful, forward-looking message," one of these officials said.

But then I’m not responsible for over 50,000 deaths and complete disruption of society. Instead of worrying about messaging he needs to do his job. It’s not all fun and games and ratings you despicable slime gob.

surprised if we don't see something. I actually expected to be left out last time when I heard about it. I'm retired on disability and couldn't say I really needed it, but I'm in a pretty low cost of living area and get by okay. Lot's of people with my same income definitely did need it.

When more people get desperate, Trump will see another payout as helping him. McConnel might have to go along as well, even if he throws up a little in his mouth saying it.
