(4,557 posts)when it's within six feet? It would not be reliable if signal strength is used as there would be too many variables.
What if the nearby person is not carrying a bluetooth device?

However, I still don't get how it would work although I suppose it might if transmission signal strength is the same for all devices and, completely non-directional transmit and receive antennae are utilized.
