6. = Jefferson County... has had a mix of Dem & Rethug US Representatives and county commissioners...

and state representatives over the years... Currently represented in Congress by Ed Perlmutter, a strong Democrat.

I'd consider JEFFCO a "purple" county, though it did go through a deep red period in the past 10 years.
