Could you be an undercover conservative? I couldn't.

I am hardwired to be a liberal. It is all I know. I can't even understand the conservative viewpoint. I have no doubt I could learn to imitate a conservative, but if I had to act conservative from a pure reflex action, I simply couldn't do it.

This is analogous to when I have driven in countries that drive on the left. I had no trouble sitting on the right side of the car to drive. I drove a stick and had no trouble adapting to shifting with my left hand. I had no trouble with roundabouts, except occasionally I've had to do an extra lap or two. My hardwired left hand drive ways became apparent when I was trying to back into traffic. Unless I was overly deliberate, I would often look the wrong way and back into the wrong lane. Being a pedestrian in right hand drive countries was even worse than driving. When you step off a curb, your instinct makes you look . . . . the wrong way! That speeding car in the curb lane is about to hit you in the *back* of the head. I am a left hand drive driver.

And so it is with conservatism. Intellectually, I can interpret it. I don't agree with most of it, but when I think about it, I can makes the words make some sense. I just can't believe it. Or even pretend to do so. I am a liberal.

I have had a lot of experience with hardcore assholes. I could fit in 2 ways. I could act like the quiet supportive type or I could lie through my teeth and spout their shite. I would not be able to engage in violent acts though.
However, if I did this, it would have to be or a good cause. I could not do it just to do it and expose myself to it without a greater purpose in mind. That would be the kicker.

and I cover them fairly, just as I cover the other side fairly.

As I told somebody on a story last Friday... "I am not fox news."

So if a conservative does something right, I will applaud them, if they do not, I will tell the story. The same goes for Dems.

Now I need to write down my notes in the puter, so I can understand my chicken scratch, or rather as I can still understand them.

First you need to find someone who remembers what a real conservative is. There was a time when conservatives were the people who got elected every once in a while to make sure the budget was sound, who were business proponents, law and order people. Concepts most thinking people could identify with. You know, "I might not agree with you but I understand where you're coming from" Trying to be an undercover conservative with the current crop means putting your mind into a sick and delusional place. You'd have to be a really good actor, have some professional psychiatric training or some other means of channeling insanity and it would probably make you bleed from the ears.

I used to troll a few RW sites, but I could never really be much more than a moderate Republican. I had a troll on Teaper Nation for awhile that was wingnut, but I got bored too easily. She was fun, though. Lived in a trailer up at four corners with an abusive husband that was part of a militia. He took her computer away because he said teapers were corporate fools, so during the day she would sneak over to a neighbors house to use their computer.

undercover conservative posing as a liberal. My ultimate goal is to infiltrate the democratic party, 'act like' i am condemning Rmoney/Lyin, send money to President Obama's campaign to help get him re-elected and then VOTE in November for Obama and then when Obama gets re-elected I will come on here and say... haha FOOLED YOU ALL!

Because you said "infiltrate the democratic party." If you were a true conservative you would have said "infiltrate the democrat party". Also, all of your words are spelled correctly. That's a dead give away!

hangouts but I always told them I was a Democrat. I don't see the point of pretending you are something your are not.

What does it accomplish? It adds to the deception in our system. People have a lot more respect for someone who is honest about their positions and imo, you have better chance of changing people's minds by being honest.

I hate deception of any kind and for that reason alone, could never do it. But also, I see nothing to gain from it.
