can still actually bring voters to their side.

It's actually working against them now.

Voters want to hear the issues, they want to listen to the ideas get debated, and just telling your opponenet to "Shut the fuck up!" isn't working anymore.

And those that would spread hate, bigotry, and lies should be called on it at every turn.
