Our President is so badly criticized over the job numbers but why aren't the same folks sharing the blame with the "job creators" that are outsourcing? Why aren't the same folks supporting the President in his efforts to discourage outsourcing and encourage the job creators to hire Americans?

(31,849 posts)how can the gop say, "Government can't create jobs" AND "It's the government's fault that jobs aren't being created."
Especially, since both statements are not true.

(7,113 posts)...suddenly the GOPers squeal that we have to stop it or it will raise unemployment.
It's amazing how many different ways they can be inconsistent at once.

(31,849 posts)I have to frequently remind the rightwing here:
"Yes, that Raytheon contract to design and/or build that missile ... Yep ... Government using our tax dollars to create jobs; that research grant to design those optic lenses and Curiousity components ... Yep ... Government using our tax dollars to create jobs!"

(4,775 posts)Agree that there is nothing but blame on the corporation and the Republican side. It would help, however, if Obama wasn't running all over the globe promoting trade agreements that siphon away U.S. jobs. He says he wants to discourage outsourcing, and backs it up to a small degree with policy, but his larger push for free-trade agreements make it all laughable.
