In TN, there are requirements but one of them is that you have to be at least 60.
We are getting applications to family and friends. We have a primary in August and there needs to be a request 90 days prior. We hope many will try that and use it to learn for the big one in November.
Everyone needs to be able to vote. Who the hell knows how things will be by November??? It could be even more dangerous to go anywhere by November. Count on idiots...just watch the news.
Please learn the rules in your state. Teach others if they can vote by mail. WE NEED TO GET RID OF TRUMP.

(23,156 posts)Over 100,000 voters had their signatures disallowed and their votes not counted due to FL's moronic and devious Signature Matching program. If your signature has changed any, even a tiny bit, they can throw out the vote. Since it's run by red legislators, they uae this to the max, even if there's any doubt at all, tiny differences get thrown out. They are supposed to notify you and give you a chance to verify your identity and sign a new card - they do not. I believe this is a total lie. I made thousands of calls to these households in 2018 and didn't speak to one person who had received the letters. Guess Voldemort forgot to have them mailed out?
If you want your vote to count and it's been a few years since you signed a card, better to vote early. They aren't strict with early voting signatures, unless it's an obvious mis-match, they get counted. That is what everyone needs to do is early vote where possible. Yes, you will have to gear up, wear mask and gloves, but the lines will be short if any vs. long long lines on voting day plus the real potential for violence then, for anyone who lives in a blue city in a red state. As a former poll watcher - this is the MOST reliable way to have your vote counted in this state - early voting works best.

(86,779 posts)It was just an option to choose from upon registering to vote. When the stay at home order went out, the same day, maybe in the order, the governor decreed that all elections this year will be via mail in ballot. We already had a good third or more of the voting public using mail-in ballots prior to this.
