“New data from the University of Pennsylvania suggests that relaxing lockdowns across U.S. cities and states could have serious consequences for the country’s battle to contain the coronavirus, which has infected over a million people while killing more than 66,000 people,” Yahoo Finance reports.

“According to the Penn Wharton Budget Model, reopening states will result in an additional 233,000 deaths from the virus … This means that if the states were to reopen, 350,000 people in total would die from coronavirus by the end of June, the study found.”

With these states opening back up you are going to see more young people come down with this and die. I know a young lawyer in his 40's he survived it, but his lungs are permanently damaged. He spent 3 weeks on a ventilator. I realize a lot of people want people my age to just go ahead and die already but I am not going without a fight.

5. washington state is relaxing a very few activities...golf only in parties of 2..

....all Tee times scheduled far apart no restroom and no food..and masks and soc distancing still apply. Fishing only family members from same house can be in boat. No public facilities. Inslee has 4 phases each 3 weeks apart. We started phase 1 today. If there is a failure at any phase we go back to the beginning. 10 counties are being 'tested' to see if we can bypass phase 1 and go to phase 2....which is 3 weeks between phases. A lot of paperwork and commissioner have to agree with County health Dept then it will be reviewed by Gov. My County is one of them thats
permitted to file the waiver to bypass phase 1. There are a lot of cowboy yahoos here. They will eff it up for the rest of us b y breaking every rule cuz they think they can now. YeeHaw...at least they cancelled the bull riding event..


My guess is Inslee is never expecting us to make it to Phase 4..which is pretty much close to normal. He said every phase is contingent upon data showing continued progress. The local yokels will run up the infection rate and we will go right back to stay at home....which is where my butts gonna be for at least thru the summer!
