(22,166 posts)37 people out of a 100 that are republican. 63 are not and will not vote for the idiot.
25% of the 37 are iffy about choosing trump to be their republican candidate for president. So, roughly 9 or so. But most of them will still vote for rump, so perhaps 10-20% of them won't vote for trump.
Thus, 4 to 8 people (republicans) won't vote for trump. This means that 63 + (4+8)/2 or 69 will vote for Biden vs. 31 for trump. Still not a big enough landslide for me in order to rub this defeat in trump's face, but I'll take it.
Ironically enough, when trump loses, everyone should show up in Wash. DC and show rump what a crowd truly looks like, at his defeat (remember his fudged numbers of the crowds?).

Model That's Correctly Predicted Popular Vote 16 Times Shows Trump Losing in Landslide
https://www.politicususa.com/2020/05/20/model-thats-correctly-predicted-popular-vote-16-times-shows-trump-losing-in-landslide.html
Using economic factors such as unemployment and inflation, Oxford Economics predicts former Vice President Joe Biden will sweep the popular vote with 65%.
Trump would win just 35% of the vote under this modeling. This would be a historic and humiliating defeat for an incumbent on par with William H. Tafts loss in 1912.
Neither party has won less than 40% in a two horse race since 1972, so the model should be taken with caution. However, before the pandemic Oxford Economics had Trump winning comfortably with 55% support.
The model predicts Biden winning Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri and North Carolina. These are all states that voted for Trump in 2016, some by wafer thin margins.
If the Oxford forecast is correct, Biden would win 328 electoral college votes, while Trump would garner just 210. Under those circumstances, the Democratic victory would be historic and substantial.
etc.

That is the only way I can sort of understand the republicans right now.
To tell you the truth I dont know what I would do if the person was awful but followed my belief system like environment, womens rights, helping the little people, etc.
Trump for all his awfulness is following what a bunch of them believe in.
