I'm seeing something on FB that is helping me maintain my faith in fellow Michiganders

A sheriff from a north Michigan county posted a screed about how nice the weather is, and how Northern Michigan has flattened the virus curve so they should just re-open, disobeying the Governor's executive 'stay at home' orders. And one of his reasons why? Because he needs a haircut, damnit.

Well, the responses, definitely including mine, have been overwhelmingly against what this guy is saying.

Sadly, the post was shared by the Flint Police Operations FB group. Maybe they were 'testing the waters'. Hopefully the responses have enlightened them as to how most people are really feeling.

What really pisses them off is the Metro Detroit area went so heavily Democratic in 2018. roamer65 May 2020 #4

Has announced secret meetings regarding plans to take out the Governor and her officials from office.

Those meetings can be infiltrated. If they are engaging in illegal acts, they can be charged and jailed.

Lo and behold city manager and police chief said no you're not and that they would lock him out of city hall if he tried.

We flipped 2 congressional seats to D and gave Gov Whitmer and AG Nessel their winning margins. Also passed MJ legalization.

I’m proud to live in a 70 pct D section of the area. My money sent to Elise Slotkin and Haley Stevens was money well spent.

We are going go even deeper blue in November. California level blue.
