I'm causiously looking forward to the debates...

Romney is going to look like a 5 year old next to Obama. He's too arrogant and self confident too totally lose it but I'd sure like to see him go to pieces like a deer caught in the headlights.

I can only hope he is called on it... or that Obama is able to call him on it.

Yes, his arrogance will be his downfall, if someone is able/willing to press him.

That is my greatest hope for him in the debates.

The debte will be between a person who has a lot of knowledge and a person who does not have a lot of knowledge. I recall when Obama took on a group of Republicans and beat them all. He told them that you are entitled to your opinion but you are not entitled to creating your own facts.

4. It was clear to me that both Gore and Kerry won the debates against the BushBoy.

Kerry against the Shrub was almost painful to watch -- the Preznit's face was half paralyzed, he was drooling, and he didn't know what he was talking about. (A Republican neighbor said it was the moment he realized Chimpy wasn't in charge of anything.)

However, I'm told Gore and Kerry, although far more informed, prepared, eloquent etc. etc., were too "wooden" while the Chimperor was "a real guy." A real stupid guy, but whatever.

I think Obama has it all going on, though. Whether or not Romney is as idiotic as the FratBoy (and who could be?), he's taken so many positions he has nothing left to stand on. All he can do is try to attack Obama, and that's not going to work. He can't look as experienced, and he certainly can't look as "regular guy."

What Obama has that Gore and Kerry (I'm told) didn't is the cool factor. He's relaxed, genuine, and often funny; definitely somebody all but a few idiots would enjoy having a beer with; smart and passionate but never "wooden" or fake in the least. Even when I've disagreed with his tactics or policies, I can't imagine not liking him as a person. In debates, that's even more important than being better presidential material (where Romney is also way off the mark, but as I said, that doesn't seem to count).

I don't think Romney could lose it, but he could look more like an uptight scripted robot than usual.

7. Bush was wired with Rove in his ear and he still couldn't get it together

Remember him telling Rove in the ear piece 'let me finish'

everyone saw the big hump on his back and knew what was happening

But the media covered it up and helped steal the election again

but they do look at the men. My best guess is that Obama will be himself, cool and confident.

Romney is likely to look nervous and shifty in comparison.
