The WHO might not just be a scapegoat for Trump. They are also a leading organization in the world of public health. That makes the WHO both an informed witness of (and perhaps an influential judge of) the Trump Republican response. Trump wouldn't be attacking the WHO to secure a scapegoat for his own failures, intimidate a witness, and undermine the credibility of a judge would he? That would be so unlike him!

(32,626 posts)since they're the bad guys, and everything they say is 'fake'. The GOP doesn't particularly like any 'do-good-organizations'. They have much better plans for that money. It's a win/win.
