Pretty good seat, hunh? National Ballpark in Washington D.C.
Yes, he did "We Take Care of Our Own" and a surprise "Blinded By The Light" and "Devil in a Blue Dress Medley." Hope you have a good weekend, too.

(1,288 posts)He was there. First he bought a ticket on the street. It was a fake. Then he waited in line and got in. 50 something years old, balding, real dead head. Did you happen to see him?

(14,040 posts)I couldn't have worse seats in the house but he has roadies that go around to people there early, they're called "Men in Black" and they exchange your tickets for floor tickets and then give your tickets (the crappy seats) to folks outside who can't get tickets. I ended up right about where you are. It was a great time and great show.
Did he have someone playing sax? If so, who?

Am deeply troubled imagining how many uncool people must be at that DC Springsteen concern tonight

(17,086 posts)I have great respect for his integrity, both musically and politically. That being said, may I ask a very shallow question? I was at a Hard Rock Cafe in California a few years ago, and they were displaying his jeans in a case labeled Bruce Springsteen, and the year. The jeans were very, very tiny. I mean I'm an average sized woman and I could have never worn them. They were also very short. Is Bruce a very small person? This is not an effort to criticize him. I've just been curious since I saw those jeans. Were they really his? Lol.
