If you are in Columbus, Ohio today, Meet Amy Goodman! (from Harvey's facebook)

Harvey Wasserman
‎"COME MEET AMY GOODMAN IN COLUMBUS Saturday, September 15th, 2012, 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Amy Goodman Book Tour. Meet the celebrated, independent journalist Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! Democracy Now! is the award winning independent news program heard on over 1000 radio stations nationally and is streamed world-wide. Goodman’s new book, The Silenced Majority: Stories of Uprisings, Occupations, Resistance, and Hope, is co-authored by Denis Moynihan with an introduction by Michael Moore. The authors began writing a weekly column, "Breaking the Sound Barrier," for King Features Syndicate in 2006. This timely new sequel to Goodman's New York Times bestseller of the same name gives voice to the many ordinary people standing up to corporate and government power—and refusing to be silent. The book is not yet released but is available now for pre-ordering on Amazon. This event is made possible by a Grant from the Puffin Foundation. Columbus' own Simply Living and our Community Radio Station WCRS will be facilitating as partners in this event and a $10 donation is suggested but NO ONE WILL BE TURNED AWAY. Location: First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd, Columbus, 43214. There is plenty of free parking."
