They might kill you too. Not a good idea. Unfortunately, we cannot go up against them when they are murdering someone. We might get killed too. In most places, except NC, where it is illegal to film police wrongdoing, unless that has changed since they made it a law, you can at least film them. That's about all I see that you can get by with doing. If you are filming, though, you might can say something to them to try to change their mind. The problem is that they are hard to negotiate with when they are in that predator/prey mindset. That is how they act in a lot of cases where they are about to kill someone, like they are out of control.
I still cannot get over how visibly scared a lot of police in videos act when around unarmed black people and how calm and relaxed they are around angry white protesters with assault rifles. It shows they really need better diversity/anti-bigotry training. They really do. Even around unarmed black kids, police act like they are visibly shaken and scared. I don't get it. Why? And why are they so calm around armed white right wing protesters with assault rifles?
Also, and this is another big one, where is the riot gear, the tanks, the post 9/11 military grade offensive gear, and the tear gas for ARMED RIGHT WING WHITE protesters? If Democrats protest, peacefully, they break out all of the above and then some and use it first chance they think they can. Armed right wing white protesters? Nothing. They are zen level calm. I wish more would write articles and/or talk about this too.
But, other than trying to reason with them and film it to protect yourself, I don't see any way to stop police from murdering someone without them arresting you and possibly harming you too.
