(102,357 posts)in a far more credulous way back then. Not to mention the Seth Rich murder and RW exploitation or even Vince Foster. But, CT cuts both ways. We need to rise above this and call out the RW for their abuse as well. It was wrong then and wrong now.

(10,435 posts)is the coverage of Scarborough's intern and Condit's intern.
I've never accused him of murder, I really don't know. I just remember reading the accounts and that Scar's situation seemed more suspicious than Condit's, yet the media were all over Condit like sharks going after a bucket of chum.
The real scandal is that an innocent Democrat was smeared by the same media that looked the other way for a Republicon.

(2,474 posts)Or its OK if you a repub.
The worse part of the Chandra Lrvy tragedy was the rise of Nancy Grace to prominence.
the reason I was always interested in Scarborough's dead intern story was that Democrat Gary Condit got hounded seemingly non-stop on her disappearance, but Joe S. got virtually no coverage for the intern that died IN one of his offices.
Back in the day, this was an example of how the media treated Dems vs Cons.
Oh well.

(29,223 posts)seems longer to me.
There was speculation... and some name calling... but after people looked at the deeper coverage it sort of faded out (he was in Washington at the time, he had already announced he wasn't running again (which removes the motive even if they were having an affair), and there was her pre-existing heart condition).
In any event the story sort of ran for a while and then disappeared.
I'm no fan of Joe. In some ways He and Mika brought us Trump. Now that they hate him... well good for them. Doesn't make me into a fan of Joe or Mika.

Did Nancy Pelosi ever bring it up ? did Biden , Obama, or even some low ranking new Congress member ?

(35,321 posts)Since the MSM got the condit thing wrong
It would only be fair if they got the Scarborough thing wrong as well
Wasn't their ignoring the Scarborough rumors right even if they got the Condit story wrong
And what is wrong with DU owning up to what we got wrong
I so don't understand your outrage

That's not something you should ever do lightly.
