Bombshell Poll Reveals Joe Biden Could Turn Utah Blue

Bombshell Poll Reveals Joe Biden Could Turn Utah

https://www.politicususa.com/2020/05/26/utah-poll-biden-trump.html

"SNIP......

A new poll of Utah shows Donald Trump holds just a three-point lead over Joe Biden in a state that has not voted for a Democratic president in 56 years.

The UtahPolicy.com/KUTV 2 News survey found:
Republican Donald Trump leading presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden by just 3 points, 44-41 percent. 8 percent of likely voters say they would support a third-party candidate. 5 percent were undecided while 1 percent picked another candidate.

….

The “gender gap” in our poll is huge as male voters in Utah are much more supportive of the president than women voters. Trump leads Biden among men 51-35 percent, but trails Biden among women voters 47-37 percent. If you add the 16 point lead for Trump among men, and Biden’s 10 point lead among women, you get a 24 point gender gap.

….

Where Trump runs into trouble is among independent voters and political moderates. Biden leads Trump by 10 points among true independent voters, 38-28 percent. Moderates back Biden over Trump 53-19 percent.

For every red state that Trump has to defend, that's time and money not spent in a swing state. n/t Yavin4 May 2020 #23

This would make Trump shut up with his bragging about his victory which was not a wide margin at all by historical standards. Of course, he also lost the popular vote.

But, on balance, they seem to be decent people who value civility and respectable behavior.

I wonder if Trump's piggishness might swing Utah for us.

Not only that we defeat him but humiliate him into historical obscurity, and he can take his entire family with him.

will not listen to their Bishop's Recommendations. Known the Game in Utah, part of a Congressional Campaign in 2012,know the Polling, know the deceit, know the little white lies, did the phone banking, did the door knocking, did the curbside honk and wave. When we ended up on Election Night,we had 28% of the Vote which was two points higher than any first time Candidate had ever done since FDR.

Yes I know several Utah Women who will vote only Dem,but it is the Sunday White Paper that only counts.

There was speculation about this in 2016 as well and it didn't come even close. It's fine if it remains speculation but don't waste energy or resources on it. The best we could ever hope for in Utah is 1 congressional district out of four if it wasnt gerrymandered so badly. As it stands now it took a herculean effort to flip the one marginal district that exists. If Utah was divided rationally there would be one reliably Democratic district.

Not a fan of Mitts politics but respect that he actually listened to the evidence and made the tough vote. They way Trump and his family attacked him I wonder if Utahans are defending their own.
