I wonder if any commercials are in production right now.

Although, a porn site I visit does run a commercial with a guy wearing a mask.

"Stay home! Stay safe and j*** o**!"

It's interesting that an immoral site is doing this with their commercials, but no one else is.

That is, no one else that I know about anyway.

Interracial couples, often with biracial children, and gay couples even being affectionate...we've come a long way! Some older traditionalists will bemoan the collapse of America, but I hope their children and grandchildren will come to be more accepting.

I've been watching a month old show on demand so I can't fastforward through the ads. So far, I've seen a toothpaste ad (no mask, but guy alone in bathroom), a lawn care ad (no masks, but family in their backyard), an Amazon commercial about their safety procedures (everyone in masks) and a Ford commercial about them making vital equipment (everyone in masks).

Where at the end, the cartoon delivery guys are wearing masks. Brilliant way to say they take your safety seriously.

... but it's becoming disconcerting to watch shows on Netflix where nobody is wearing masks and nobody is practicing social distancing.

It makes one wonder if were going to look back on pre-pandemic times with some kind of nostalgia. I suspect this virus is just a preview of worse shit to come.

I dread that Mother Nature is about to deal with us in her traditional manner. Exponential population growth followed by collapse isn't an extraordinary thing in nature. This planet has seen many innovative species come and go. We are not the first, we won't be the last.

In a million years our civilization is nothing more than a curious layer of trash in the geologic record.
