(51,611 posts)this past weekend and he was saying the same things as in the article. As I listened to him I realized that what he was saying is probably the most realistic and likely scenario. After reading this article I am even more certain that this will be the route it takes.
Prepare yourself mentally, financially and emotionally, as well as physically (if you can) for this outcome.

Those are extremely unlikely.

(732 posts)I had a talk with a friend about this. We decided these were the likely outcomes.
1. It mutates to a milder form.
2. We get better medication for treating the symptoms, giving better outcomes.
3. We manage to more of a heard immunity. Not you won't get it again, but lesser symptoms.
4. A vaccine.

(34,076 posts)I don't know what will ultimately happen - I haven't studied that aspect of it yet. But I do know that there are significant differences between the two kinds of viruses that matter.
