Dumbest thing I heard from a conservative today.

Okay, this was from a DV'rd Thom Hartmann "The Big Picture" program on Thursday that I just watched today. To cut to the point. On a discussion about health care costs, Thom Hartmann made the point that the most socialistic institution in America, the military, provides health care, housing, food and everything needed to the enlistees. Yet, he made the point that the same conservatives, who praise the military, seem not to acknowledge this point. One of his guests, a conservative POV woman, stated that she had friends in the military and the very best of health care was not available to them.

Duh? So I guess if you can't get the best of health care, like if you don't live on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan and can afford the most expensive health care, supposedly the best, you shouldn't have any health care at all? Really? Do these people ever think through their talking points before they leave their mouths?

...... but then again, perhaps conservatives with more than five active brain cells are too afraid to go debate Thom Hartmann on TV.

which is the dumbest thing a conservative says on any given day. The day isn't over yet, though, and since we have the GOP debates tonight, I would wait until they are over before picking the dumbest thing said.

Somebody is going to say something stupid tonight, and probably ALL of them will say something stupid.

I don't have nearly enough alcohol to render me crocked enough so that I could suffer through their debates.

To them any social service is substandard.

When I watched it I was shocked I tell you she did not bring the Walter Reed scandal up... I guess they already forgot.
