I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to protect South Coast Plaza.. it's the big retail draw

Santa Ana is not a small town - over 300000 people live there, and its part of OC. Not that the SWAT / military presence is justified.

video. Mater Dei, fancy private school, is perfectly positioned to observe the chaos

(16,954 posts)3. South Coast Plaza is in Santa Ana, on the border of
Costa Mesa. It was due to reopen tomorrow June 1 after being closed since March, but theyve pushed it back. Maybe this move was because of South Coast.
