Trump more determined to visit Maine after governor tells him it might stir up unrest

Maggie Haberman tweet:

The president is planning to go to Maine this wk. The state's gov bluntly told him on call today that she has concerns about it stirring up unrest. The president replied that people like "their president" and later said she may have solidified him going

More tweets about this from reporters:

On the call, Maine Gov. Janet Mills told the president she was "very concerned" about reports he will visit the state this week -- "I'm very concerned that your presence may cause security problems for our state. We don't have them yet."

Maine trip planned.

“I’m very concerned that your presence may cause security problems for our state,” Maine Gov Janet Mills told Trump on governors call, per audio obtained by Bloomberg News.

“I think she probably talked me into it,” Trump said.

He really gets a thrill out of causing chaos and pissing people off.

I don't just want to see him lose in November. I want to see his life and the lives of every member of his family (except Barron and Tiffany) fall apart spectacularly, publicly and brutally.

"The president replied that people like "their president".

So why isn't he out talking to them in front of the WH instead of hiding in a bunker and telling the governors to "get tough on the protesters" saying it's not his job?

He is a coward, plain and simple.

And I bet Susan Collins doesn't want him to come.

We sure don't want to foot the bill for his security.
