WTF! Anti-LGBTQ "Project Pride Fall" during Pride Month?

Has anyone else heard this yet? My 2 eldest granddaughters (early teens) just told me that they and their LGBQA friends are really scared over this so I did a quick Google and here's just a couple of things on it I found...

There are trolls regardless - not sure what this is or if it's real.

The second video posted gave me pause when it said to delete your apps etc. Sounds like an underhanded way to silence people. If you really wanted to combat bullying there are other ways.

just fear talking.

I just know my grands and their friends aren't sure what to make of this because they watch the news and to them it seems like a lot of the adults in the US have lost their minds. I remember being young and watching the protests and craziness of the 60s and early 70s on the news when it looked much the same to me but I never felt like I'd be a target like so many do now.

4. A lot of Pride Events have been rescheduled for the fall, in hope that Corona will be eased up

Answer: 4chan asshole trolls love to target minority groups with hate "for the lulz" frequently. They've done it in the past, they'll continue to do it in the future. In this instance, they've named this targeted harassment "Project Pridefall" because they intend to harass members of the queer/LGBTQIA+ community leading up to and during Pride Month this year. If you're a vocal supporter of the community you could potentially be targeted, but if you take steps to protect yourself you should be fine (like, for example, using a VPN or other anonymity precautions).

All they're gonna do is try sending virus links to people in the LGBTQ community and spam their twitter feed with gore or whatever. can they get them selves in a VPN- a Virtual Private Network, it will give them a little more online security.

And since they're much more computer savvy, they will know someone who can get the VPN u for them
