Doesn't seem wise to me. How can anyone who believes that black lives matter encourage massive demonstrations in a predominantly black city, with people coming from all over to attend said protests, in the middle of a deadly pandemic that is disproportionately killing people of color?

Why is it that Blacks are more affected? Less masks? I want to know why that is.

1) Blacks are more likely to be "essential workers" and/or have jobs that can't be done from home
2) Blacks are more likely to have certain health conditions that make them more likely to die from the coronavirus if they get it
3) Blacks as a whole have less access to healthcare, which overlaps with reason 2
4) Blacks are more likely to live in cities, and in more crowded areas within the cities, where the virus spreads most easily
5) Blacks in cities and even suburbs are probably less likely to own cars and more reliant on public transportation, where the virus spreads more easily
6) Blacks are more likely to live in areas with high pollution, which causes asthma and other lung issues that make coronavirus more deadly.

12. We're still in the middle of a pandemic.

I’m all for activism and action but we could be killing ourselves by doing this. The infection will spread far and wide with a million people out there. Social distancing is pretty much gone. I know some things are worth the risk and most of these young people will probably not even notice if they did get it but I’m concerned that the numbers are going to explode.

Not Susan level concerned, of course, but still plenty worried. But, it started anyway. I don't think we can keep it up until Novmber 3rd, but if we could, I say we should try, at this point.

I've seen looters wearing their masks only over their mouths, not their noses, etc. People who are out there need to wear their masks properly. I'd wear a vest, too. Under clothing you probably can't really tell what you have on. And, maybe from a rubber bullet point of view, some kind of further facial protection might be warranted. All of this would be just to protect yourself, and not so you can be naughty.

I think it would be legendary if George Floyd actually started the push to get rid of the Trump Crime Family. Of course, all those that went before him are also as noteworthy. But, I love his name, and I'd like to see some major change attached to it.
