(22,252 posts)did not make any changes. Last I heard, ACLU was working on it.
She went to vote, but she was not in the registry. The Election Judge had her do a provisional ballot, and when it went to the ballot board, the first thing they did was verify her voter registration, in case she was actually registered in a neighboring county.
Turns out she had been incarcerated and was on parole but had not been released by her parole officer which would have restored her rights. The judge threw the book at her.
She probably vanished from registration because her voter cards had been returned as undeliverable from the address of her registration. This was especially infuriating because it was a provisional ballot and would not have counted anyway.
So now she has to serve this round of time, and wait for a release so she can vote.
Interestingly, another woman in another part of the state actually tried to vote in two different counties for the same election. She did not get sent to prison. She was not minority. She was voting Republican, in a primary.

According to those documents, and additional materials obtained by The Washington Post, Trump agreed in writing years ago to change the use of the Mar-a-Lago property from a single-family residence to a private club owned by a corporation he controls.

(3,922 posts)This would be the defining scandal for the thugs right up to the election.
The IPOTUS would probably outright ban mail-in ballots if he could.
But, as usual, crickets from the WHPC.

(111,267 posts)which eliminates Mar a Loco and Doral, unless he wants to give up one of his cash cows, close the club and the golf course, and pretend it's a private home.
It's either that or find a ridiculously ostentatious mansion fast.
