(40,220 posts)They were either so bonded to the Republican Party that they couldn't not vote for him or else...three decades of right wing propaganda, and....her emails.
They thought that he could be corralled by the "smart" people. They failed to understand the depth of his psychopathy.
My hope is that ads like this reach the people who have had enough of this lunacy.

(7,968 posts)I have a friend in Florida, she didn't vote for tRump '16 yet still defends him only because she is an historical Republican. She is a good person, and an intelligent person, but she is unable to see the truth.
If I get a chance to have a full conversation with her between now and November (which unfortunately, is unlikely due to Covid) I will try to push her towards Biden. At least I can be fairly confident she won't pull the lever for tRump monster. She'll likely just leave that part blank.

(23,156 posts)He will be screaming at his attorneys to sue them immediately, spit flying from him, his face all contorted even worse in a hate mask and the orange upped to screaming scarlet. I just wish they had included the economy and it would have hit all the major notes that would drive drumpf even more batty.

(6,557 posts)It was reassuring to hear from sane people who are evaluating what was done by them in 2016. We at DU knew what would happen with Don the Con as president, but I could not have imagined how bad it now is. I was also glad to see some of the posters included other of their Republican elected representatives in their part of supporting the orange menace's agenda. It has been a disgraceful 4 years. Yes, I am including the 2016 campaign. I still have the sight of Don the Con stalking Hillary on stage during the debates ingrained in my memory. His character was on full display. Republicans knew what they were voting for. Many said that they "hoped he would grow into/ become more presidential". You get what you vote for!

(11,578 posts)Every single Democrat running for office needs to hammer this point over and over. Republicans are wholly unfit to govern. Trump didnt happen in a vacuum. This was by design

(32,767 posts)They're openly rooting AGAINST Chump now, but it doesn't mean they're FOR a Democrat to win. Well a few of them are for Biden, but most of them have only one motive. They can see that the Titanic is going down and they don't want to be on it.
They're still chicken-shit Republicans, and they aren't earning any grace by this. Somebody with actual balls would have spoken up during the impeachment trial, but how many did that? Only one - Mitt Romney.
Republicans - you own this!
