From what I get from reading the accounts of people that get hospitalized with it, once you have had it once, you don't want to get it again. My guess is that people that survived the first instance take extra precautions not to get it again.

Every time this has come up before, it has not been true. So, I'm skeptical unless someone can point me to an actual study with, you know, evidence. De Blasio saying it doesn't make it true.

and I was on my way out so I didn't hear the case if there was one. But if you can, I hope to God it's not a repeat of the 1st time.

It is possible that he has information that we don't. He is talking to medical people at hospitals a lot.

...and I don't mean just for antibodies, but for currently having the virus, but I don't think it has been reported that anyone has had serious symptoms a second time.

One guy in China was said to have gotten infected something like four times, I guess Darwin was too busy to deal with him, at the least, if he shows up infected again, they should brand "dumbass" on his forehead.

that they actually got it "again."

Could be a faulty test. Could be the virus was never fully cleared the first time. Could be it's just antibodies and not the actual, live virus.

The consensus so far is you can't be reinfected, but that's subject to new information.

they last for at least some period of time after an infection, up to a year it appears thus far.

It is a completely different test than antibodies. Antibodies cannot show an active infection. Only PCR does that.

were just antibodies showing up. So if you want, add poor testing methods to the list or poor reporting of testing.
